SA club Mintaro cruise 2024
SA club Mintaro cruise 2024
Stunning autumn day and solid turnout made for a great day, as we meandered our way up the old main north road, to the Magpie and Stump Hotel this morning.
Pit stop and rendezvous at Perrys Roadhouse, Roseworthy:
Twelve cars turned out, along with 23 members and friends.

Mark brought his van. The first time I've had a chance to check it out.
Pete got his white hydramatic sedan on the road since last I saw him, at the Ill famed Mannum cruise last September.
Kenny has owned his granddads FB Sharky since he was 17, about 45 years.

Looks like a great run Clay. Thanks for posting.

Re: SA club Mintaro cruise 2024
Roger and Mitche got waylaid, but only temporarily, thanks to the assistance of a couple of friendly local enthusiasts.
Tina and Nick's nicely restored EK Special. I'm guessing snowcrest white over tartan turquoise.

Re: SA club Mintaro cruise 2024
Thanks for posting the pic's Clay.
As I was coming into Auburn, I carefully applied the brakes to slow down. The pedal went straight to the floor.
No real drama, just pull over and stop with the parking break.
Rolled under and the right hand hard brake line broken, bugger I said.
A young local fellow walking by said if you need a workshop follow me.
Nice big workshop at Leasingham 5 ks up the road, were he made up a new line but I buggered up the male fitting into the caliper.
He then found a HR dics caliper and gave me the hard line off of it Fitted, bled the line and all good to go and would not that any payment.
You just have to love country people who appreciate old Holdens.
PS - I'm making a couple of new lines to take on the drive to WA.

There is a right way and a wrong way and then there is my way which is usually the long way.

There’s still some good people out there
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

When you've made them, you could always fit them. Just a thought......
