It was 10 years ago today we had our first ever meeting after putting an ad on Gumtree and a bit of banter here on the forum back in the days when there was more than a dozen or so of us on here

The wife got a couple of snaps of that meeting, we were expecting about 8-10 to show up and ended up with over 20 turning up on the day and a further 5 or 6 who were interested and couldn’t get there that day

We have about 55 financial members currently, but there would be around a dozen who are just in the club for the cheap rego ……

We don’t care, the ones that never show up miss out not the regulars and other active members- the way we see it the dues of the non participants pay for the food and drinks we put on at every event for those that do turn up
