Yep, correct, stroke it and externally its still a 308 ( 304 ) but internally its a 355.

Only problem with your car being engineered for a 308 is if the excrement hits the air oscillating device ( shit hits the fan

) and you are in a prang, the accident/insurance investigators could go over everything with a fine tooth comb.They'll try anything to save $$$.
I heard one story of an engineer years ago actually asking a fellow to prove that the engine he was using wasn't stroked otherwise he wasn't going to approved the V8 fitment.He had to pull one head off at the engineers workshop and the engineer checked the swept volume of the cylinders to make sure it was only still a 308 cube engine.
Maybe an isolated case perhaps.
Try the injected 308 as is without a stroker crank if thats what you decide on, still good horsepower there in a relatively light bodied car.And there is still enough get up and go parts suppliers around to modify it for higher output.
