Possible for a little water to get in mainly windscreen leaking in heavy rain and hosing off Stephen. It's not much. After I massage the tunnel I wil scrub the floor and marinate with thisImage

Clay’s Wedgewood Blue FB Ute

Post by Errol62 »

Finally got the invoice from Roger. Shift rods are at the platers then it can be dispatched. He charged me his old price because it took so long apparently. $1100 which seems pretty good since rares kits are $500 and then the shift conversion, rods etc. on top.

I haven’t bothered putting the floor mat back in since drying out after the Stansbury trip, still I won’t go hoiking the donk quite yet, just in case…….

Took a 35 minute phone call, but that included a lecture on lubrication and installation.

Yes Mick. If you drive in the rain be prepared to pull out the flooring and dry things out, which is why I left the floor un-insulated, and the rear tray removable.

Ixperimenting with tachometer positioning. I lashed out at Willunga swap on a $10 Sunpro. It is the Super tach II model, not mucking around here.Image
Knee clearence seems ok and can see with shifter in top but have to look down a bit. Not as bad as a HK GTS I suppose. It won't mount to column higher up with the column shift. On r adjacent the speaker grille would be an option less subtle although I mount the phone there currently.

I wonder if there is a tachometer app for the phone..... thinks

Nah. Got it turned around so I can see from 0 to 6k. Won't be going past that.
