Exhaust extension

Post by Rev Tex »

Hi,

I'm about to re-chrome the rear bumper, but want to avoid getting carbon all over it like below. I was thinking about a turned down exhaust extension, but am just worried it might look a bit rubbish. Does anyone have any suggestions about the best way to avoid the carbon blackening?

I reckon it just wants to be longer so it expels the carbon and water past the bumper Andrew. Your exhaust looks different to stock, but could be wrong. One of those NASCO flared ones would look ok imho. SA rules say exhaust shouldn’t extend beyond rear most body part.
