Yes, a little bit up near the tail light Clay, but inwards facing and it should tap up a bit. I'll sneak up on it unexpectedly and give it a few taps next time I'm in there. Probably talking about 2mm in and about 30mm long so nothing too major.

Re: Project 2.
Yep Blacky. Made it specifically with the rebate on the patch piece to have a valley for some bog to level it off. I can't do this work without using bog. 3M Platinum Plus for anyone who needs to know

Re: Project 2.
Yes it's better if it pulls in rather than puckering out. Get the filler on staight away give it time to settle before paint. Lap weld I did on ute guard, minimal bog but came out a fine crack after paint damn it.

Re: Project 2.
No not on this project Clay. Using 2k primer and it's better to prime first and bog over. Less rust potential.

Re: Project 2.
Get some 2k on and fill sooner is my advice then Brett. I agree it is important to seal it up asap and 2k etch is the best. You could always fill and paint with Protek 458 aerosol. Will seal it up and works well with epotec over it.
Trouble I find with filling over etch is that when you sand the filler you go through the etch at the periphery and have to re-etch anyway. As long as you metal prep and clean first and seal up promptly will be OK but 8 do realise you live in a swamp over there.
End sermon 8 ) 8 )

Re: Project 2.
Given the amount of rust v car that was present at the beginning I believe we are having the pleasure of watching Mandrake the Magician at work on this build !!!
Re: Project 2.
Mandrake reporting in.
Made patch for second last panel repair this morning. Prepared area with rust converter and then KBS. Better than new in there now.
Welding later today.
