Re: FB Standard Wagon
Haha I should but some 10mm nylon bar… making them out of the 50mm I had in stock is just throwing money down the drain!
Nah seriously what would they be worth… $3? Lol

With the new bush, it should be nice and notchy to change gears. The FB is like stirring a bowl of porridge

Re: FB Standard Wagon
Bit more than $3 in today’s world Drew but yes most of it is logistics cost, which is inversely proportional to demand. There is a lot of satisfaction to be had in making your own parts and getting everything working nicely. Enjoy.

Re: FB Standard Wagon
So today’s set back has got me stumped…
I got all the brakes overhauled at PBR in Adelaide near 12 months ago and I’m today I got to the job of fitting the master cylinders so I can start making up the brake lines.
Clutch master fitted ok but the brake master is no go!
Brake has a wider base and it doesn’t have clearance to sit flush on the firewall next to the small screw which locates the pedal assembly.
I’m thinking PBR got my master cylinder mixed up with another customers as I took both my masters off the car and sent them in so I know that they fitted ok before hand.
Photos show the two different shape bases so I have got no idea what has happened.
PBR said ‘they will get back to me’…..

Re: FB Standard Wagon
Chinese casting !!
Die grinder or linisher to take the sides down.
Those masters fit a couple of model Holdens EK EJ EH etc so probably generic.
Your original maybe with the master gods, good luck getting it back.
