Re: Clay’s Wedgewood Blue FB Ute
Mounts are all but hanging over th e back of the crossmember. I thought I was going to be moving them forward as previous car was close to the firewall as the lip needed to be removed from the cowl to firewall seam. I did change engine mounts to some reinforced "XU-1" type.

Re: Clay’s Wedgewood Blue FB Ute
Hi Clay using those remade mounts is the only way in my book I've seen some really shoddy ones that just dont look safe.
Before my FC was a V6 I had a 208 and 4 speed in it and when I moved the mounts for it the were right at the very back so I would expect the same for you.
Neil

Re: Clay’s Wedgewood Blue FB Ute
Thanks Neil. The two grey gearbox mounts take a lot of the weight so the fronts aren’t working too hard weight wise, although they will take a fair share of the torque when the right foot goes down. I may change to later box at some stage in any case. I believe red crash box will fit with relatively minor massaging.
