...one small footnote to Paul's answer above that he would'nt let on..
He's a real good family man, and so never spends much on himself.
Members of his family (and himself) have to spend $$ on medical expenses
most of the time, as well as normal costs of a large household!
..as they say in the classics.."Nice guys finish Last".
Scotty.

he's right about the owners wanting to claim all the fame that sucks
i'm always the first to admit where and when i've had help
don't know if it's worse or not, but then there's the people that buy a car and try to claim building it, such was the case with my chop top, but the guy got caught out beautifully not once but twice and in 2 different states

Easily distracted angle manipulator extrordinaire.
Paul I have wondered were you got to I used to drop down to your shop at Beenleigh with my father in law Dan while he was building his 51 chev. That car that he had (sold it in 2005) was a chopped 4 door which he converted to 2 door and I remember you showing us the progess on this car you have featured. Dan did a pretty good job taking into consideration he is a carpenter by trade. I must say that your advice played a large part in his build up and its that people get to see true workmanship. I also to get Rolls and pleats magazines off you as before you could get them anywhere and it was always good to see what else was going on in your shed. If I can get some photos of Dans chev I will post them. That car is now in Sydney but have no idea where.Keep it up. Cheers Mick
