Thanks fellas yeah started on the roof and tailgate. Paint on the guards and doors went on pretty good as I’m getting better at it getting it on wet work top to bottom etc.

Raff has been helping me this arvo and came up with a clever way to put the bonnet bump rubbers in the guards after l had already fitted the guards, using fishing line wrapped around the mushroom head that must be squeezed into the hole in the guard. He got the idea from when he helped me put in the screens. We then tried the bonnet on after folding down the hinges. This is certainly s stage of the build where he can easily help and really speed things up. You can no doubt tell I'm pretty stoked at this development. So far so good.ImageImage

And here is the patent applied for Harvey bonnet spreader in action. It has now returned to storage until panel vans are to be played with. The support bar is now in. Last shot showing paint finish. ImageImageImage

Fancy looking plug leads. Any spare battery clamps looking for a new home? Thinking I'll have to heat up a bit of angle and bang a few dents in each end. Enjoy the ales, well deserved.

Good work Clay,

Your making a great job of it. Do you reckon the ute will be on the road for the All Holden Day in Jan?

Thanks fellas. Not first class in reality but not bad. I’m hoping to have it on the road by Christmas. We shall see.
