Hi Billy;
I bought a no name brand off of eBay a few years ago had enough to do the FC sedan and then to do my Ute it just looks like Dyna-mat without the fancy logos and sticks like sh@t to a blanket, car builders for tape and a roller and away you go.

Hi Bill,

I used dynamat lite, not cheap but a good product. Bought off Ebay.
I can bring a sample when I visit if you like.

Is underdog a soft rubbery compound with silver top sheet or a spongy type?

Bill,
It’s 5mm high density and sticky. Peel off butchers paper one side and heavy foil the other. Pretty affordable as I recall.

I used Chinamat on the rattler , a Chinese Dynamat ripoff, goes on much the same and was half the price but no longer available and I wouldn’t use it now anyway - no more Chinese crap for me .

I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

Billy
Jason from the humpy forum put me onto it. 1.95 sqm for about $40. Enough to do a Ute at 65% coverage. Anymore is overkill and just adding weight to the car.
Cheers

I used Resomat in my FB ute, no particular reason, it just happened to be available. It looks the same as Dynomat. Very sticky and its a bugger to get the adhesive off your hands too. Anyway I am happy with it. Fraze
