Windscreen wiper arms
Windscreen wiper arms
Want to Buy. Two windscreen wiper arms (left and right) 11 inches (28cm) long for FB Holden. These are the arm which attaches to the spindle below the windscreen to which the blades attach. Thanks, Fraze
Re: Windscreen wiper arms
CORRECTION- to my WTB post- the FB wiper arms should be more like 12 1/2" (31.5cm) long. Cheers, Fraze (11" are FE FC arms)
Re: Windscreen wiper arms
there is a pair on evil bay ATM Fraze - not cheap at 250$ but look pretty good
You will find me lost somewhere!

Re: Windscreen wiper arms
Hey Fraze let me have a look at what I've got in my stash I know I have a couple of sets.
The FE FC arems have a different end on them where they fit the blade arm on so are pretty easy to tell the difference, thats my experience anyway.
Having both models I am able to compare.
Let me know and I will check out.
Regards
Neil

Re: Windscreen wiper arms
That is pretty cool Harv. I wonder if they make the springs stronger so the blades actually stay on the screen at 110kmh.Harv wrote:I got mine from Truvision:

My springs were OK... the splines not so much. Lost mine in Sydney traffic at 40mph.Errol62 wrote: Mon Jan 06, 2020 2:33 pmI wonder if they make the springs stronger so the blades actually stay on the screen at 110kmh.
Maybe I need a set of those plastic wiper arm wind vane things from the 80’s

Re: Windscreen wiper arms
Don’t worry, I have tried the vanes and didn’t fix the problem. I guess my days of rainy high speed fb ek driving are pretty much over. Anyway discovered rainex.

Re: Windscreen wiper arms
Thanks FireKraka, I'll try TRUVISION today - they list the FB in their online catalogue. I may as well buy new if they are available but failing that I will get back too you. Fraze
Re: Windscreen wiper arms
OK FireKraka back to you, if you have a pair of arms (left and right) I wll buy them from you, just let me know how much and cost of postage to Melbourne.
I spoke to Robin at Truvision today and he is not stocking early Holden sets any more, his supplier has upped the price and minimum order to impossible levels.
Please let me know. thanks, Fraze
