Windscreen wiper arms

Post by fraze »

Want to Buy. Two windscreen wiper arms (left and right) 11 inches (28cm) long for FB Holden. These are the arm which attaches to the spindle below the windscreen to which the blades attach. Thanks, Fraze

CORRECTION- to my WTB post- the FB wiper arms should be more like 12 1/2" (31.5cm) long. Cheers, Fraze (11" are FE FC arms)

Hey Fraze let me have a look at what I've got in my stash I know I have a couple of sets.

The FE FC arems have a different end on them where they fit the blade arm on so are pretty easy to tell the difference, thats my experience anyway.

Having both models I am able to compare.

Let me know and I will check out.

That is pretty cool Harv. I wonder if they make the springs stronger so the blades actually stay on the screen at 110kmh.

My springs were OK... the splines not so much. Lost mine in Sydney traffic at 40mph.

Maybe I need a set of those plastic wiper arm wind vane things from the 80’s 🤔

Don’t worry, I have tried the vanes and didn’t fix the problem. I guess my days of rainy high speed fb ek driving are pretty much over. Anyway discovered rainex.

OK FireKraka back to you, if you have a pair of arms (left and right) I wll buy them from you, just let me know how much and cost of postage to Melbourne.
I spoke to Robin at Truvision today and he is not stocking early Holden sets any more, his supplier has upped the price and minimum order to impossible levels.
Please let me know. thanks, Fraze

Mate I do have a pair, not use what they are worth and don't want to rip off so make an offer mate and I will check postage as well.
