All too true but we are all on slightly different paths. Anyway the front is now complete. ImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

Back under the bodyImagefound some more rust ImageNot surprising really, considering every box section is chock a block with dirt. I will fold up a u section and butt weld to the bit that is joined to the floor.

I think I can trump most, my little project is at 15 years, that said 2 children and building a house has been in between.

I think ultimately as long as we play its good for our mental health !

Clay, I didn't think FB/EKayers knew how to take a selfie !!!!!!

Good stuff looking forward to when its rolling with rego.

Regards Greg

I guess the reason I got this car was to have a driver so I can take my time on the van. Thanks for your interest every one.
Cheers

Bit of exciting news. Seat is ready. ImageImageImageImage I wasn’t expecting it to be ready so quickly. I can’t recommend Shaun too highly, for timelines, workmanship and cost. Thanks to Gledge for the recommendation.

Ive tried to go original as practical with out going to massive effort. The colour is a near perfect match for the painted metal trim. I still have to take the trim off and give it a decent buff. If it doesn’t come up better I may end up getting an aerosol can matched up and give it a paint. Seems to have a slight metallic hint to it.

I need to get the front on, weld up the roof, paint the dash and floor and install the insulation mat so I have somewhere to put the seat now.

That seat looks awesome.
And as someone who did a home re-spring and re-bolster job to an identical bench seat, I can highly endorse getting it done properly! Mine ain't that comfy  Also I say leave that side trims, they look cool the way they are!

Haven’t heard of that brand before Clay. Let us know how it goes.
