2 door FB with flip front

Post by hewey »

Was revealed at Summernats, got a place in the Top 60

An unveil car, Daniel Beauchamp's WILDFB ticked big points for us with the sweet teal paint and two-door conversion. Under the tilt front-end lies a twin-turbo Toyota 1UZ 4.0-litre quad-cam V8.

Nice clever bit of kit. White pearl side flashes would set it off, together with a period interior. But then it is a street machine I suppose. Unfortunately the link bombed on me so couldn’t get the full story. Thanks for posting.
Cheers

I hope the front fits better then that when its closed ? The top photo looks awful. Looking forward to seeing more pics of this car , hopefully a forum member is at the nats and can post some up here ?
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

Nice car
By the look of the little bloke in the media vest. I'd say a full spread is on the cards, will have to keep an eye out

I know this car well and watched it being built over the years.
It's a father and son project Peter and Daniel Beauchamp.
Peter has been through my parts bin for some stuff and it's had a lot done that you can't see.
when they start it up my house shakes and I live up the street!!
An the car is teal green not blue - it look heaps better than the pictures :)

Looks awesome - would have been super sweet with the white flashes as said above and some more chrome - can never have too much chrome

Trolling through old posts and saw this - quick google and found the Street Machine link.

Met the guy not long ago picking something up off Facebook unrelated. Fantastic guy and was nice enough to show me around.
