EK Auto body Tranny hump

Hey people,

Still looking for a EK auto transmission hump from a donor car is there any out there I'm in Melbourne but am will to travel let me know

I've got a half dozen wrecks to look at this week, I'm also looking for floor sections (centre rear). I'm not too far from you either.

Be sure and get the bracing setup underneath. This goes back 75mm past the centre floor pan seam under the front seat and is quite different to manual. ImageImage

I wonder if that floor section is the same as an EJ auto?

I've heard it said before but I doubt it, having been more or less carried through since 57. Then again you'd think they would have adopted a one fits all floor pan to reduce tooling. After all the EK auto was a knee jerk reaction to the XK Henry. You'd think the General would have been thinking longer donk per 149 and revising the firewall. Also lowering everything by dropping the floor pan below top of sill panels?

Well I looked at six fb ek sedans and one ek ute today, not a floor worth mentioning between them!

Just the one Tim. Heading back this week as the one I got is a bit dodgy on the passenger side where the hump brace rivets to the under floor one.

Wondered if you were heading that way when you said Barossa as he said he gets a regular visit from qld.
