G'day all,
I thought I might post a couple of pics of my old mate Morton now that I have installed a few things and sorted him out. Having a great time with the club reg being able to drive to work and back or a day trip when ever I like; almost too good to be true. Since I have resurrected Morton from 20 years of storage I have fitted; day-night rear vision mirror, vacuum windscreen washers (all original and functional), sun visor, visor vanity mirror, bonnet bird and wheel trims. still working on cutting a key for the gear lever lock and fitting a remote oil filter.
Keep at it. Al

Re: Morton
Lovely honest and original looking car. My dream surfing wagon. Specially with the pack rack and hydramatic. Do you know if the colour is original?
I am wondering why you would fit vacuum wipers to an EK. Pretty sure electric wipers were standard across the range.
Cheers

Re: Morton
I picked up some rear window venetians recently, stoked as cheaper than repros and match the car well with rust and a few dints. i recon he is looking pretty sharp now, check it out.
Shalimar blue by the way.

Re: Morton
Nice wagon you have there. I have always looked at those roof racks and wondered how strong they are when only held on with suction caps and a couple clamps? The venetians also set it off.

Re: Morton
Yeh the rack seems to stay there with only two clamps that pull down on the bailey channel. not sure what brand it is but certainly from around the right vintage.
Would love to get up to Renmark but have a few big drives in store already for the next couple of weeks.
