Successful outing at the Kustom Nats at Philip Island GP. We were there both Saturday and Sunday I meet a lot of people, and most were very positive about the project. There's always someone that could do it better, of course. On Monday we shipped her down to the Engineer. Happy to say all went well, and we now have engineers approval. So another year or so to finish, and we can register as MILDFB. its been a long haul but worth it.

went to all that trouble to take 3.5 inches out of the pillars, but still taller than a regular FB :hehhh"

I have the same question as I did in 2009.
What will it be registered as.
And under what designation is it being engineered.

Whats been happening?.. We have had Engineering approval to register MILDFB as a modified FB (with original VIN), its just a matter of finishing off and registering as MILDFB.. we already have the plates. First thing we bought. The only place we could figure to put the battery is in the guard, won't fit in the engine bay.

And if your going to modify a FB, you may as well modify the grill.. enter HK monaro grill.. The car will start off the ignition switch and most of the electrics are working..

Exhaust is going on, twin Lukey mufflers.. who remembers them? as well as catalytic converters we bought when they were cheap 10 years ago...

Good to see some progress mate, i'm a bit surprised they are using the original chassis number , hasnt it been cut off or have you welded that bit back on ??
