OK, here's a side-on pic showing the flashline strips. Front is up getting brake cylinders done.
My EK Ute
Re: My EK Ute
Looks purdy.
Interesting the tonneau attachment way with the clips down lower - is that something you've done yourself or how it came from dealer?
Mine has the little metal pins much higher up.
Hey Tim if I paint mine I could use the flash kit

You will find me lost somewhere!
Re: My EK Ute
Tim, I have a ute that your flash kit would fit onto
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

Me toooooooooo
Re: My EK Ute
FJ, we added those clips because when we ordered a new tonneau cover it came with the stretch bands not the eyelet type. Well, it had metal eyelets along the glass end and that's why those metal pegs are still there.
The stretch bands on the tonneau were never a good idea though. They have lost all their stretchiness now and the cover fits loosely. Should have stayed with the pins.

Re: My EK Ute
Thanks for the pics Patrick. Nice ute that! It's going in for its brake job tomorrow.
