Scratch plate refurbishment

Post by D-MAN »

Any ideas as how to refurbish scratch plates - can the centre section be painted in a frosted finish?
If so what do people use?

I suppose it could be painted if that's what you want - or take them in and have the centres vapour or bead blasted
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

I can have a crack at vapour blasting the centre sections for you and see how it goes.
The factory frosting appear a bit on the agressive side, whereas the vapour (hydra) blasting is generally gentler.
