burnouts in the shed, now theirs a story I have to tell
my old man was a bit of a grease monkey, working on his MS85 crown and all...
I got a hj sedan gts from a dodgy caryard here in bris,it could keep up/slighty faster with a newish walknishaw
at the time, anyways I used my dads shed to give all my cars resprays
to cut a long story short he wasn't due home for hours
so I dropped a tyre popping skid,giggling coughing,giggling
couldn't see much ,nearly as good if not better than shit you pay to see
my old man was only mad at me once
that was the time
he could see smoke rising from his beloved shed from a mile away
he pulled in the driveway in his 76 crown,"curnal mustard"we called it
"your not going to work on your car anymore today" he said
such a good skid though the wind/breeze always settles at the worst of times.
I haven't fired the 186 up yet but im quietly confident it will pop a skid
maybe a race ,an old school race ...maybe not cause id get tasered
and I don't even have a rego sticker cause there gone...crazy days

I made a quarter glass seal today,i think it will seal,
I cannot afford proper seals ?
60 bucks a side ,just for the tiny windows ..I could not spend that much so I made my own
only one mistake ..,,.
my doors are closing really nice after spending a week closed
and the shit the glass goes up and down in is great
easy to wind up or down
im rustproofing and greasing as I go with lanolin , being a sheep phucker and all

hey mick ues Pritchard rd Virginia
lovely fellas
p 406, for the rubbers use good glue 424 loktite
flip the rubber for the quarter glass once all the old is removed
glue in as you go ,chop vees out for the pivot points
flat blunt screwdriver to push the rubber home
lots of glue and patience trim the bottom section with a new blade by 4.56mm,lol

pulled down the orig door trims yesterday, wow I was going to use them as a pattern.....
but they are a lot better than what I recall
and its a budget build, they have lasted 50 years ,they must be ok..
will put a new back board on my door ,only because I have to
are the measurements up on this site for door backing cards?
the blue turns green over the years
