585-0046 Fleet Colour Saphire Blue (Normally a Bus Service Colour) Be interesting to see the cargo area.

I placed the pics here as they will be deleted in the 4-Sale thread and it is such a rare find ...

Be great if someone could save the old bus.

Hey steve. I think im projected out although im really turned on by fleet vehicles. After the fires a couple of days ago I really think there is way too much stuff hanging around the place.
After doing the eh van im probably going to do my fb ute and the maybe the fb van I have.
The last project really took it out of me physically and financially. It costs a heap more to do a car than what it used to.

Hi Dave, I saw some great pics of the Electricity Van the other day ... love it!!!

Thought about you with the fires the other day. Was so scary when I had some cars and they were out at Londonderry during the last big fire.

Be great if I was out west again, I could give you a hand. Itching to work on some cars again.

Thanks steve. Yeah the fires really are terrifying. I had a run in with a bush regeneration expert today.
He wast to happy when I told him I started bulldozing the bush across the road from me.
I wonder what he would do if he had a wall of fire bearing down on him.
They are educated idiots who know nothing. If these guys would let the fire fighters burn off every winter we wouldnt have these massive bush fires every couple of years.

Hi Guys.

That FB panel van that aussie bob has posted, was Mercury Red (also called PMG Red) not Saphire blue

Both the combination number 900 & the paint number 585-0046 back this up.

Another unusual number on the body ID plate is the S10 in the top line. AFAIK this is the option number for a vehicle built to PMG specs.

hi! all i dragged this fb ute home today ,bodies totaly shot but has some good bits still on it ,first one i have come across that was never fitted with indicators from factory.

Body FB 2106 - 2954-A
Trim 511-834
Paint 585 - 9895
Eng B105157
Sub FB 8866 P
subframe could possibly be ek as the fb letters have been stamped using smaller than normal size stamps and feels dodgy when u run your finger over it.
