FB/EK horn (left side)

Post by Joe_FBHolden »

Hello fellow FB/EK enthusiasts, I'm chasing the left side horn (as you look at the car head on). Not sure if its the high or low note, but interested to buy if someone has one lying around or willing to part with. Msg or call: 0407271290. Cheers Andrew Image

Re: FB/EK horn (left side) LEFT/RIGHT??

Post by the platinum man »

Hi Adrian
Sorry as i cant help with the horn But i can clarify witch is which side on a car
all australian cars have the steering wheel on the RIGHT SIDE
Now if you are in front/underneath/on top of it,in it or behind it the steering wheel is still on the RIGHT
so the side with the steering thingy on an FB/EK is the RIGHT SIDE

also AMERICAN and some continental cars have the TILLER on the LEFT So thats the LEFT SIDE
AUSIE BOB was after an export FB/EK with the TILLER on the left so keep your eyes peeled it may spark his intrest

Was just asking if anyone had a horn for a FB/EK, nothing more. The horn i just discovered is the high note (right side if behind the wheel).

Just got quoted $200, am i up for paying too much?

Anyone have an estimate?

Much appreciated

Hi Joe
$200 seems a bit rich but I find myself out of touch sometimes on prices.
