Graham's EK Special Wagon
Re: Graham's EK Special Wagon
The gas tank is fitted in the cargo area, yes I lose a bit of space but I am not bothered by that because I can use the car more often being cheaper than petrol. I had what they call a 'spud' like a small pipe threaded in that gives a venturi effect put into the carby simple to do just near the butterfly so that the volume of gas can be controlled. I have not had any problems in 5years that it has been on. A cap type as you ask is usually for V8's. Most 6cyl can have a 'spud' and are cheaper to install. If you ask would I do it again 'YES' for sure.

Re: Graham's EK Special Wagon
Have got a set of hubcaps given to me by the previous owner of the car and need help to identify them. I will get a pic posted but they are similar to FB caps with the FB star around the inner area and they have a metal 5 star thingy bolted to the centre. A pic is worth a thousand words so will have to put them up

Thanks for the comment about the house and the car. We love the retro scene and bought the house as a total rundown dump about six months ago. the house was built in 1955 and although it got changed over the years we put it back to the era again and complimented it with period fittings and colours. Do not have a problem if anyone wants to look as we are only a few minutes from the Bruce Hwy going through Nambour. Had the kitchen put back to the time as well no flick taps here. Even managed to get a pedestal bathroom sink. Hope to have the driveway fixed soon.

Very cool wagon and nice colour Graham,How heavy is your van?,Pic? I have a mid 70's Millard 15ft,I think a would be to heavy for the EK ute. I'm in Yandina drop in anytime, cheers,Steve.
Re: Graham's EK Special Wagon
My van is 10'6" is about 1000kg when loaded, a 15 ft van I think the car would struggle with a grey by to-days standards but what weight is your van when loaded. Have you a grey, and if you keep the grey going they pulled that size van years ago. Thanks for the invite have not seen your ute around and where are you. Would like to meet
