Hi,guys and girls,Steven is my name.I have be looking at this site for more than 5 years and finally joined up ,(not good with computers,I'm old school,52 years old ,been a Holden man all my life mainly Torana ,I built 3 LJ 308s,2 hatchbacks,owned anther 6 2 doors LC LJs GTR's and a XU1,have also built and owned heaps of HQs GTS 2 door Monaro,HQ Premier V8 sedans and wagons,EH and HRs HK GTS Still have a nice HQ Prem wagon,factory 308 .Air,steer,LSD,Red interior,monaro buckets.8" Kidney mags also have Rebels 8"mags.I brought a FB ute about 10 years ago .Sold it a couple of years later,missed it,so I pick up my EK ute I still have now,I also brought a EK sedan ,but I moved from Sydney to Sunshine Coast and had to let it go,The plan was 355 6speed 9inch for the ute ,but back injury has changed that (and new rules in Queensland,so semi standard it will stay,still running grey (have twin Carb's and extractors,HR front end,have stock wheels hubcaps,widened standard rims,Torana widened ,14" HT rims ,14" Kidneys in 6"x7" and 7"x8" have LJ diff to fit ,(one day) trying to get the ute on rego been sitting in shed for 4 years now,cheers.Image[/[URL=http://s79.photobucket.com/user/natsteve/media/Copyofekute147_zpscc9db119.jpg.html]Imageurl]

Welcome Steve, that's an impressive build list there. Nice clean EK ute you've got there too. Sounds like you have a few choices on changes there, be good to see how it all goes.
Speed and Style........... One day I'll get the speed bit.

Giddy Steve, welcome. Ek utes are my all time favourite. Bring her to the Nats in Hervey Bay mate.

Thank, s for the welcome , the plan is to make it to the Nats, Hervey Bay not to far away to drive, it would be great to meet you guys. I feel like I know some of you already, having read almost all your builds and most of your post.The ute is in need of Radiator (in now being repaired, it's the original core)
Rear Exhaust pipe brakes checked over, last Rego. Last Rego 1987. I have just brought the number plates 61 EKU (thanks Dave)

Stephen, mags? I keep changing my mind 14" until I change diff to 3.36
