Hi everyone,
Hoping someone could help me decode an ID plate of an FB I am looking at buying please. Its advertised as having the original engine, does this look accurate by the engine number?
I know the body means it an FB special sedan made in Adelaide
The Trim is FB 816 Dragoon & Jockey Blue 225
The paint is Wedgewood Blue 0115 with Grecian White 9562 insert
if some could please confirm what I think it would be great.
cheers.

Re: FB NUmbers help
Hi,
Your decoding looks spot on to me. The block is a the correct block for an FB but I can't say if its the original block.
You could have a look at this thread to see if there are any other FB with similar body and block numbers. Or failing that see if you can contact the state agency in Vic that does car rego's and see what records that have against the VIN / Chassis number for the car.
regards
Stewart
