Ok guys, so far I have wasted about $500 trying to find a bonnet bar that could be rechromed. Has anyone had any experience with spectra chrome. The 2 bonnet bars pictured have been acid bathed by KD Chrome and have been deemed useless due to either to much rust or to thin and unable to handle welding. Unless someone can guide me toward another option it looks like spectra is it. Cheers guys, any advice is appreciated. Mark :thumbsup:

Hi Marko;
Mate I would say finish that drink, make yourself another one :yeahhh: and maybe look for another bonnet bar unless somebody else has another option.

I have one that I have not cleaned up yet I can have a look tonight and let you know if it is any good.
