Exhaust Question

Post by mattathome »

Took my FB in for a exhaust repair today. The muffler had collapsed and split at both ends. Went to the local place and asked for a replacement. He had a look and said it had a straight through exhaust. He said he would sort something out to get me back on the road. So just picked it up it now has a Hotdog in place of the muffler. So effectively it has extractors , hotdog and 2in pipe. So my question is, is this OK for my 138?

Will take it for a longer drive, but on the quick spin home seems to drive a bit better but that could be in my head!!! Should I have a proper muffler or will this be ok?

Regards
MATT
