This is a really interesting video of a go showing the step by step process he goes through to detail barn find that's been covered in dust. Sure its a Porsche, but all the techniques and advice are just as applicable to restoring en FB/EK :thumbsup:

Good video. Surprised they cleaned it though, you find some guys leave them all dusty and dirty as for some reason barn finds are worth more when they're left as they're found.

Those paint thickness gauges are a bit deceiving , even if you have a high reading you don't know if there's bog, hi fill or heavy primer under the paint.

When you do get a low reading though you know you're pretty f*cked
