2 door FB wagon build in SA

Post by hewey »

This is being built by Aaron Bray for his girlfriend Mira Mae. Pics from instagram. Looks like a neat build  It was her Christmas present, and she wanted him to chop it up - my kinda girl!

Another one below but I think its been chopped too far for my likes. I'd have to see them in the flesh. Good concept and something different to the usual builds. :glasses:

It's a great concept making the 2 door'd using the rear curved piece like that.
I recon that blue one is the ducks guts (in looks), too bad it's having trouble getting on the road.

I like the idea of a nomad wagon.
Well done. Should look great when done.
I also like the sedan delivery that was being built on here. I dont know what happened to it.

The blue one has some nice elements, but it's a look too chopped for my liking and makes the windscreen look a little awkward.

Here's some more pics of the FB which have just been posted up. A decent amount of work for some subtle details, I really like it

Really? Going by the second image it wasn't perfect. I'd say they've done an excellent job making a factory looking nomad.

it's tops the only thing I don't like and it's the same with the chopped one and that is I think there's to much of a curve to the top of the door by just using the rear door curve
sometimes yor just better off shitting in yor hands and clapping

Yeah - if I were biulding it I would have canted the B pillar at the same angle as the rear pillar and radiused the top of the rear part of the doorframe like a ute/van door.
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

I thought the top of the door looks too radiused.

I look at a vehicle like that, and can only dream that I had the metal skills to make one up. Damn nice job.

Cheers,
