my artwork
Most of you all know me as a panel beater painter. Prior to doing this I was pretty good at art at school.
At 15 I made my first stained glass window and after year twelve I went to uni and got a degree in art majoring in glass.
After that I got a diploma in education.
I lasted exactly two weeks teaching deadshits in high school and never went back.
I have been teaching adults this artform for 25 years.
Whilst at uni I worked in a panel shop to survive.
Today I fitted some windows into a customers house near wyong.
Luckily I fix cars as this kind of work has really dried up. I used to make a pretty good living out of it years ag. Apart from this job ive been restoring the windows in st peters church st peters. Its a huge project and ive been doing it for three years now.The windows are 150years old and twenty feet high.
Anyway these are the windows today.

Originally these pedal cars were produced by a company in europe call gordini.
The originals are highly sort after worth up to ten grand.
This is a repo so basically worthless but still cool

That's awesome, those lorikeets would look great in the panel next to my front door .................

Really nice work Dave, always have liked lead lighting.
My old neighbour was a lead light teacher. Sadly it's underutilized now a days

Re: my artwork
Thanks guys. The parrots are my favorite also.
The problem with leadlighting is most people see it as something that goes into an old style house.
They cant see a contemporary application for it.
When federation was hot I was doind really well now the phone never rings for it.
I dont really mind because its murder on my back standing at a bench for hours.
While im bragging I thought I would post a pic of my other passion and thats making models.
This flying model I scratch built from balsa for a nationals a few years ago.
Its a 1931 hall bulldog pylon racer. I even made the dummy radial from scratch.
I built it in four weeks and smashed it straight after this pic was taken.
