Yeah still got the ute but picked this up the other day.A stock FE with spats (louvered), venetian, door handle scratch plates, smiths beehive heater (with demister vents).Has been sitting unregistered since 1995 but still runs -unfortunately no brakes so was interesting getting it off Fatboys tilt trailer!

No great plans, just want to do an FE like it might have been done in the 60s/70s.Plans are to repaint at home (in lacquer this time) put a set of wide steelies on it, lower it andthen put all the fruit back on.Gather some low brow speed gear then drive it.

The interior is pretty good and definitely useable. The floors and subframes are shmick and don't need any work!I can't figure out music but it did come with a vintage radio.

My first car was an FB and my car before the ute was an FC van so I'm with you Matty I have a soft spot for the FE/FC.

Stinky the only burnout would have been the clutch!

Hey ekv8ute, is this the jigger that was on ebay from milton? If so good score from what you've said, I'd thought it would be real rusty.

Yeah Sam, thats the one.Looked like crap on epay.

Thought about leaving it with original patina but probly wouldn't last long here near the beach!

Harko, have you ever done the flat clear with any success-eg long life?Would be a lot easier than fixing the dents.....
