any direction on where to get the above mention kit to suit a red 308 in Perth, my gilmer drive pully is just hitting the w/pump housing.

they are available on line but postage almost doubles the price,

Can you not machine a couple of mm off the back of the water pump pulley ?
I am not a fan of the gimlet type setups, they have a nasty habit of leaving you stuck on the side of the road with a shredded belt, you should always carry a spare when you run one of them.
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

Cheers Blacky,

I have wondered about the life expectancy of the belts and gears, but they look cool - there is a very good chance I will come to my senses and revert back to a stock belt and fan.

I need to pack out the pulley away from the water pump - replaced the water pump on rebuild - must be a little different from the old one

If any one has a fan, standard pulley, etc to help me revert back please let me know, my engine came with the Gilmer Drive and I didn't get the original parts.

Thanks guys, Mark

Where does the belt sit on the pulley, can't you take a couple of mm off the back of it so it clears the pump ?
