Central West NSW Barn find....not Holden
It's contained within this Hobbit like bush with wooden doors....
We get one door opened enough to just squeeze through as the level of soil and grass has built up about 4 inches since the shed was last opened some time in 1988.
It doesn't look good...
But there's a 1963 Wolseley 24/80 in there.
Complete with Ivy!
It's actually 'Nuremberg White' in colour under all the dirt,
The interior is missing carpet but should clean up OK.
So yeah...

It has fins! an offer has been made but we will have to wait for a couple of weeks to find out if its accepted.
Yes same body as the Austin Freeway.
It actually looks worse than it is, the layer of dirt has preserved the paint and chrome work quite well.
It has Bi-Centennial plates on it which still look new, odo reads 50XXX miles, not sure if genuine. The owner must have either fallen ill or was unable to drive again when it was finally parked sometime in 1988. It still has all fluids including water in the cooling system and brake fluid with a good pedal feel which I thought would have leaked out by now.
I think it should fire when fitted with a battery and fuel fed directly to the fuel pump, although there is no key as far as we know. It could be in the house which I wouldn't mind looking in as I reckon it would be in time warp condition itself.

A nice find there. They were interesting old cars with a bit of style. They probably cost quite a bit more than a Holden of the same era but are worth only a fraction now.

True! I can't afford a Holden now, that's why I've turned my attention to alternatives....
