Hi Guys - I'll put up pics as the project progresses.
Pic-1: This the old girl as aquired. Got it from the guy across the road that was going to have it scrapped. He got it as a restore project, and after 6-months in his garage decided to change up (!) to an LC Torana.
Pic-2,3,4&5: Spent bathurst day drinking a few beers, watching the race through the window, and began stripping down the old girl.
Next weekend the engine and bay to be stripped and maybe the dash (we'll see how we go for time)...
Later-
Phantom.

Hi mate any progress pics ??? love your work. Is there anything cooler than watching somebody build a car from the start ? like rowan, malcolm and sammy. Personally I love watching this sort of stuff as I know one day it will have to be done to mine.
Keep up the good work !
Keep up the good work !
You won't be late with a 138!
Looks like its complete enough
My advice from lots of experience is if you cant weld as yet ,learn to repairing your panels with repair sections that are preferably genuine - they are thicker steel than anything else you might find apart from cutting it from a genuine car and wont blow through with heat so easily
Keep an eye out for a better shell because if you pay say $1K for a good one (advertise everywhere) you wont be spending 2 - 3K on repairs that just wont be the same as factory ,or spending all your spare time welding which by the way is 1K for a good Mig ,$200 per gas bottle ,$100 rental up to $40 a roll of wire and heaps of electricity and that includes all the frustration of waiting on people , searching for stuff , and transporting the car etc etc etc
Slim from Busby in Sydney will have everything you will ever need for it you will find him under a search at www.fefcholden.org.au .
Good luck and
