Brakes Groaning

Post by Cal »

For a few weeks now the brakes on the EK make a very loud groaning sound just before the car stops. Seems to be coming from the front, and sounds like the pad is slipping on the drum.

I've noticed the brake fluid is a bit lower than usual. I'm guessing I might have fluid leaking from the cylinder and onto the drum? :? Would anything else cause the noise ?

I'd pull the wheel and check it, not worth trying to guess. Usually the fluid drops slowly as the brakes wear, but if it's leaking you should see it running out the bottom of the drum and down the tyre.
Speed and Style........... One day I'll get the speed bit.
