HI all,
I'm having trouble taking appart that channel that I marked with the red arrow. :oops:
can anyone help?
also are these channels all replaceable, cause these ones are a little worse for wear.

Hi Tim,

they can be bit of a bugger to remove. That channel is part of the quarter window/ventilator assembly...which comes out of the door as a whole.

make sure all window channels have been removed...it looks like they have.

make sure all screws supporting the quarter window are removed.

inside the door and at the bottom of the quarter window channel there is a division channel stud - make sure the nut is off that too.

the shop manual says "Ease the ventilator assembly inward and to the rear and lift from door"...the book always makes it sounds easy...

yes the channels are available at Rares or Spectrum rubber and

grab yourself a shop manual...you can get reprints of the original for $50 or so...
Others may have some more help on this...I've only done it once or twice myself...and usually ended up cursing...
