when youre typing up a post, at the bottom left corner there is a tab for uploading attachments.
re fitting V8,,,many before have tried and succeeded, there is lots written up about it which i have trolled through many times, re which type V8, how to, what needs mods etc etc.etc and there will be many here to offer you advice and help, i have seriously considered this route and done my sums thoroughly...its not cheap...as on top of the motor and box itself (which i'm sure you won't want a stocker 308 straight from wrecker with a fresh dulux recon), there is the engineering, the cassis mods, the demister, multi speed wipers, steering conversion, collapsible column, seatbelts throughout, the chasis notching for filter etc etc custom bits and pieces. HQbrakes = new wheels... it goes on and on...if you do all the work yourself its less expensive but if you pay someone for the lot with a nice fresh recon, it a 15K exercise drive in, drive out....might as well buy yourself the real deal with a V8 already AKA the 57 chevy and just give it some love.
i also considered a warm 202 with a few go fast goodies, as a much cheaper alternative, i picked the warm 202 option, got carried away with myself at the mechanics and drove out a few months later with a hot red 208 with Y/T head, rollers, cam...the lot. and a grin from ear to ear. should've bought the 57 chev!
