Re: EK Freshen Up
Still got to tidy up the old floor repairs and the body work is done. We are aimng to get some paint on it this week.
Re: EK Freshen Up
Some more progress today.
Dave was working on the rear floors. They had been repaired previously, so there was no rust there, but whoever repaired them cut the rusted bit out of the floor, then welded the new piece on top of the old floor
. Looks nice and neat from the top, but looks like shit when you looked under the car. So it was decided to change both rear pans.

Hopefully tomorrow both new pans will be in
I got into the wet sanding of the panels

Repairs on the guards all done

Hopefully the weather holds out over the next few days so we can get stuck into it

Re: EK Freshen Up
I had a bit of a laugh to myself when i saw that. Whoever did the work on this car before should be ashamed of themselves. More so if it was done in a panel shop. No matter how nice the car looked when it was done a potential buyer would take one look underneath and think the whole car was repaired that way. Im so glad peter decided to get this done.SunnyTim wrote:I was spinning out as the floor pans that had been put on top were actually EJ-EH

Well worth the extra work and expense, even though there was structually nothing wrong with the old pans they looked like shit.
More sanding

Yeah, thought it was bloody winter again Mick . Though the arvo was better.
If the weather holds up on the weekend Dave might be putting some colour on the roof
