Shaved doors emergency release

I'm going to do shaved door handles on my EK. Please dont says their illegal as they are only illegal if you dont have the emergency release buttons. My question is that with these emergency release buttons how is your car locked, couldnt anyone open your doors?. May be a silly question but i really dont know

Just do electric central locking matt but make sure you can always get access to your battery ,if its in the boot and its shaved do a hidden cable release ,
Could also be done to a door with a little extra effort
