Photoshop - Spats

Post by Cal »

Wondering if someone with photoshop skills can do me a favour and make the spats on this car white.

I'm thinking of putting spats on mine whilst it's getting painted, though I'm not sure how white spats will look.

Yeah, good points. I did a dodgy photoshop on it, and it looked like sh1t with white spats.

Common as bums these Cameo EK's, so I was aiming for something different

i don't get the whole matt black blah blah blah  :? it's ok for there to be 40 bazillion metalic blue cars
i understand the shitty rattle can flat blacks
not everybody wants shiney (insert colour here) paint  in general it's the persons choice to have matt/flat/sueded/satin paint same as it's the person's choice to have 2 pak that looks like glass :ewink:

Mick i think your not getting the humour in the post. Stewart is reving peter up and im adding fuel by saying that ill be painting his car in grey primer with guide coat. Matt black is fine in my book. Considering you can buy brand new matt black cars means they have been accepted into the mainstream.

Mick i think you will find matt finishes get a bad wrap because nine times out of ten its done because people either dont have tge skills or money to get a nice finish on their car. The other percentage still get the bodywork perfect and apply the flat finish to a high quality. Ive gotva mate that constantly wants to build holden rat rods. He is in the first category and to me the cars look like thrown together objects. Some rat rods out there look awsome.

Speaking of bad wrap, you can now get the matt black look by having your car wrapped in some sort of sticker, rather than painting it matt black.

Once the novelty of having a matt car wears off, you can just peel it off
