i don't think thommo is exactly short though
looking at the door windows it's gotta be about the same chop as stanley's van and surprisingly muza there's quite a bit of head room once inside but stanley's van's floors have been flattened
sometimes yor just better off shitting in yor hands and clapping

Gday Fellas
It has had a fair swipe taken out of it about 5 1/4" but being a van it has a high roof.
I haven't flattened the floor, and the fibreglass buckets I have had made sit on the hump.
I'm 6ft and with my seats my face is at window high.
The van needs rack & pinion steering now so I can angle the steering column down to
suit the new driving position.

The seats have been mounted in this roughly in this position since this shot was taken.
They actually sit a little more upright, but that height.

Cheers

I've just become the new owner, of forum member EK61's, chopped EK van :D
Dave's got a new project to do, and I've just come back all inspired for the Forbes Nats. 8)
The body on the van is exellent, but the roof's got some finishing to do.
It was last registered in 1969.
My initail plans are Trev/Ratbox style, Low buck croozer. 8)
Low sheen black, silver painted bumper/grille etc, chrome wheels.
The build wont be done in a Ratbox timeframe, but as time & funds allow.

Thanks Animal
I've seen lots of the fin conversions done wrong in my opinion.
I think the best van conversion would be to start with wagon,
and add a van roof, tailgates & front doors.
