Hope there is a trophy for the shortest distance travelled.....
About 3 1/2K's to Country Comfort Motel headquarters, and the same for the show n shine at the Valley Lakes, for us this year!
Haven't been home for the last 8 years on the June long weekend, really strange, no "adventure" for us this year.
see you all in 17 sleeps
regards
Lesley
Hope there is a trophy for the shortest distance travelled I wonder how many miles you and Roger have clocked up travelling to the Nationals over the years...?
All great fun we love it! Poor old panelvan has done 49,850 miles (80,220k's) since Nowra and a fair portion are the nationals adventures (and holidays around them). Many more to come.

Lesley

The shortest nationals trip from me was Bendigo and I had the most trouble .
Because it was so close I didn't bother doing my pre- nationals trip going over on my car and payed the price .
Good luck, see you there , Trev.

More like, let's all put our foot flat to the boards and see how fast our cars can go.
At least this is how it was when we went to Bendigo, I had reports of other members doing 140k/kmh to try and keep up.
Just a word of warning for anyone looking to join. Make sure you have a fast car, and have room on your licence to get some points added if Mr plod happens to be watching.
In their defence everytime there was a big turn off or something they would stop and wait, which was good as we didn't have a gps or a street directory as we didn't think we would need one.
