Anyone used the Monroe Air adjustable shocks?,if so what do you think and are there any other brands out there i should be lookin at,they are one of the last things on my list before the ek gets lowered.need them because of the blocks i have bought for the rear end, might need to be raised with a full load in the back from time to time, also i need some centre caps(bullets..etc) and chrome lug nuts as well,as usual any advice would be gratefully appreciated.

Every car that I have bought that was fitted with air shocks had cracks around the upper shock mount - the shock mounts aer not designed to carry the weight of the car and take the impact of the wheels hitting bumps.
If you are going to fit them and use them a lot I would be inclined to fit some kind of bracing back there.
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

Hey guys just giving this tread a bump as I'm looking into some rear pump ups for the FB.
The front is lowered 2inches and ive got a 70l drop tank and HQ type plates (what ever those plates/lower shock mounts are called) under the diff.
Anyone got any tips/advice?
Anyone had any cracking round the top mounts like mentioned in the above post??
I thought I'd jump on this one before someone gets hurt....
If you fit air pump up shocks to the rear - run a separate air line to each shocker.
When these first hit the markets back in the late '60's, a lot of roll-overs began to occur.
Cause for it was - the weight of the vehicle on the low side was actually jacking up the high side...... and "flip"....
I don't know if the suppliers now fit some sort of check valve to prevent this happening - I would very much expect that they would ... or if there are warnings concerning connecting the two units in series.
I went the other way and fitted adjustable Koni's to mine - they have been under the vehicle since 1973 and are still in perfect condition.
I have only replaced the rubbers once.
The do not afford any height adjustment - but can be finely adjusted for bump and return control...
