The paint reminds me of a popular colour from the 70s, "Persian Sand"

Love the pattern on the door cards and seat upholstery

After reading FBIDEK's thread on VN diff shortening,I got my VS ute diff out and found them to nbe the same sizeImage
so out came the grinderImage
and now it's stripped ready to cutImageImage
I'm just trying to find out what saddles and u-bolts to buy before i cut it, so i can do it all in one go
It's been a bit cold the last couple of daysImage
i ordered the v6 conversions front end today 4 to 6 week wait so i'll get a move on brake & petrol lines to makeup & power booster to get

cut the diff today was difficult getting it in the right spot to cut it square'( got the level out)
Image
Image
then cut the 95mm off
Image
got some thick pipe that fits great and cut to 240mm abit long maybe (it won't move)
Image
cut a slit two blades thick
Image
Image
drilled the 8 holes to weld the two pipes together
Image
got the wrong saddles on friday as the holes were too small
Image
my biggest drill is 2mm too small 24mmis needed, should of got the &*#@ one with the 24mm hole too late now
Image
will weld it all when i get the saddles done
