FB Ek wheel cylinders

Post by Craig Allardyce »

I came across this on Ebay and wondered if anyone knows of these wheel cylinders ever being fitted to FB/EK's.
The seller reckons late FB/Ek's where fitted with non adjustable type wheel cylinders fitted with rubber boots. He also states two different brake pipe sizes fitted across the diff.
My parts manual is an all model up to late HR so I would have thought any supersessions would have been included in it.
His picture also looks to be a HR front cylinder (angled bleed nipple) :econfused:

Thanks mate,
I thought so.
I Just would have hated for someone to have purchased them from him that wouldn't have known.

Funny he seems to have changed the picture in his add now but is still stating different sizes of rear diff brake lines/wheel cylinders.

Cheers

do you know off different size rear brake line across the diff?

i.e.

"IF YOU MEASURE 3/16" (4.76MM) THEN THIS IS THE WHEEL CYLINDER YOU WILL NEED.

IF YOU MEASURE 1/4" (6.35MM) THEN SEE MY OTHER LISTINGS FOR THE TYPE YOU WILL NEED"

I've never heard of this either.

Thanks again. :econfused:
