oh hahaha fairenough wagon is costing me abit to get it running way i want it. as for updates im getting some bolts for the stand tomorrow (pay day :P) saturday should start takeing the motor apart after a clean. probaly have to get a new crank shaft and pistons. after it all taken apart will take the head and block to the reco joint and let him take a look at it see what needs to be done be honed. while that is happening dad wants to test the sand blaster out

doesn't look to bad there all out now just need a puller to get hamoainc balancer off .was just dirt and carbon on it be getting new ones anyways, but the cylinders dont look to bad think number 3 had some slight marking but it will get honed once it all apart and got some money saved up.

going to get some more sanding done on it then get new flooring for it, dad wants to spray it him self.

Davo, if it's within your budget, I would advise that you take your grey motor to an engine builder whom has experience in working on these motors. I know of a couple of horror stories where grey motors have been taken to engine reconditioners who didn't know what they were doing. Does you mate have experience with grey motors? Remember, a new cam means resurfaced lifters. You can't get these new anymore. My engine builder had to go through three sets to make up one set good enough for resurfacing.
