My New Wagon

Post by Grimbo »

Ok I realise I'm a glutten for punishment, but I just couldn't pass this up.It's a diamond in the ruff, but I'm stoked to be owning an EK wagon again.

It needs a fair bit of work, but it is all do-able. With the prices of FB/EK's going the way they are/have, I figured I'd better get something before it was to late.

I picked up this EK wagon off ej Dave. Fatboy kindly helped out with his truck and trailer and sdc came along for the ride and helped load the old girl on and off the trailer.

Good one Sam    and you are right about grabbing one now to put away, the amount of old Holdens that I could have/should have brought leaves me regreting not thinking ahead :( The only real problem is trying to find storage space :? , youve been to my place, two in the shed plus the young bloke's ute behind the shed and one under a cover sharing space with Vicki's car in the carport.

So is the HR wagon going back to a red six cruiser?? It would make a cool ride lowered with spats, it's got a perfect colour combination, white exterior and red interior

Fix the rust, HR front and rear, red 6 and probably a trimatic and get it back on the road. Ruff and ready. Then later (much, much later) when I have more time/money, paint and trim it properly. It was the only reason I grabbed it, because it's a wagon. Needed another car/project like a hole in the head.

Good score, Sam.
Fatboy seems to be in Cant' berra more than on the coast these days.. ..( I've still got your "Heater" here, Fat!! )..
That truck of his has haulled more FB/EK's than building materials!
I still miss my wagon (even though it was a "rust bucket" )
The engine/drivetrain you have in mind sounds like it will be a good cruiser too.
