Hi all can any tell me i picked up a vs ss 304 motor and box to run a carby what do i got to change do i change cam and dissy or can i slap a manifold and carby and go

Manifold to suit the injected heads and carb.

you may need to change the dizzy if you aren't going to use the ECU, cam would be same for either carb of EFI.

do you have that motor/gearbox :?: if using that auto without computer associated with the injection etc i think can be a headache

Chuck in a TH400 auto and its a heaps stronger box if its built correctly!

The trick is to use a VN or VP T700 gearbox, where everything associated with the gearbox like kickdown and stuff was mechanical, not electronic
