If you can get some made I'll put my hand up for one my ute tailgate looks naked.
God who would have thought you could write so much about a car badge.

I need another one for my ute. I'm pretty good at scratch making parts for my models and thought I might cast one up in resin. It won't have the mounting lugs but they can chrome plastic no problems. I could make a few more if anyone was keen. I know its second prize but at least its an option.

i am trying to fix the break in my FB badge, does anyone know what metal it is I have tried using silver solder and a rane of other items but not having any luck.

I will do a vaccum form of the badge with a view to making some if I can not fix it.

Rare Spares will surely be onto it
I have flicked a few emails to the repo people at rarespares and they reckon if they get enough interest they will produce it, I have been emailing joex@rsp.net.au
if anyone wants to send a request

Otherwise Im keen to buy a repo if someone has looked into that further or a broken badge as there is an old boy over here has fixed a few here.

yesterday I made a mould to cast some FB Boot badges. By the time I get back to my workshop in the morning it should have cured. I am going to cast them out of resin and then get the chromed. As yet I havent worked out how to cast them with the pins but worst senario you can urethane them on.

I found a Silicon mould product that will withstand the heat of a low melt alloy so there is a chance I could make them in metal but Im not sure how they will chrome. Any way fingers crossed it works.

I have a few NOS ones around still in the boxes. Could have negotiated into the parcelshelf deal with the std trim + tasman caps.
