Hi All,
As promised,I have some current pics of the build,so far all going to plan(your right choppedfan,I am working to a plan)
Planning an old school look with Halibrand wheels, centre cap with spinner knock offs, none of this low profile stuff.
Got wheels sitting under the car,9 inch has been measured, getting cut & shortend as we speak,
Love the car to sit that low but it will sit at least 2 inches higher.
There`s no going back to stock now...   ImageImageImageImageImage

Have you tubbed it ? They look too big to fit in a stock wheelwell
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

Thanks Everyone for all the positive feedback(except for the one comment about butchering it  )
I will be fitting a Coolaride external sunvisor, scratch plates & rear side Nasco venetians which all come with the car when purchased.
Trying to keep it looking stock with modified wheels/driveline... :D John

Well done John....an absolute pearler :D
I'm too respectful to modify an original car like that  (not that mine's stock) but hey, that's me, I still like the look of where you are heading with this project.
Can't wait to see some more pics!

Details, Details, Details............rim/tyre size you've used?, tubbed to the chassis rails or full tub?, what engine/gearbox ya gonna use?......we love details here

Keep up the good work...........Bob.

Thanks DocBob,she is an absolute pearler,if it had the original paint,I would have only polished & drive her stock.
Starting to piece up the hr front end, gearbox will be a turbo 350(fully manulised)3:55 F##d 9 ",leaf spring rear end & for the pony at front, either a 307 or 327,depending on how big I can legally go.The bigger ci,the bigger hp,waiting on engineer to confirm... :?:
Will post more pics when more gets done... :P :P :P
